Our story began back in the infancy stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans were looking for something new as sport fandom was at an all time standstill on a global scale. Eventually after public support on social media and a vested interest within the Leafs community for something fresh, the 3rd Intermission Podcast was born.

With the OG founders Dave, Reese, Darren, and a former member Jordan Hayles, we set out to try and create a passion for the Leafs within the Black community as the ability of being a fan had died down with their lack of success.

Although Toronto has been working towards doing better year by year despite not reaching the levels the fanbase wants, and with socio-economic barriers, scandals along with the lack of interest in the sport due to it’s stagnant march towards a progressive future, this podcast stands to make an impact in the hockey world.
